How Ticket Taxi Works

Ticket Taxi is a simple and safe marketplace for buying and selling event tickets. We're here to connect fans who have extra tickets with those who need them, making sure everyone gets to enjoy the events they love. We don't own any tickets ourselves – instead, we provide a platform for people to resell tickets they can't use, or find tickets they want to buy. All tickets are delivered electronically (via email or through our app), so everything is convenient and instant.

Buying Tickets on Ticket Taxi

Buying tickets through Ticket Taxi is designed to be as easy as possible. Follow these steps to find tickets for your next event:

1. Browse or Search for Events: Start by looking for the event you're interested in. You can browse by category (sports, concerts, theater, etc.) or use the search bar to find specific teams, artists, or events. We'll show you a list of upcoming events or matches that match your query or interests, along with dates and locations.
2. Select Your Tickets: Once you click on an event, you'll see all the tickets available from sellers on Ticket Taxi. You can usually filter tickets by price, seating section, or quantity. We often provide a seating chart or map so you can see where the seats are located in the venue.
3. Review the Details and Price: Click on the tickets you want to purchase. You'll see the full price breakdown, including the ticket price set by the seller and any service fees and taxes. Ticket Taxi believes in transparency, so the price you see at checkout is the total you'll pay.
4. Checkout Securely: When you're ready, click the checkout or buy button. If you haven't already, you'll be prompted to log in or create a Ticket Taxi account so we know who and where to send the tickets to. At checkout, enter your payment information.
5. Receive Your Tickets: After your purchase is confirmed, Ticket Taxi coordinates with the seller to deliver your tickets. Since tickets are digital, there are a few ways this can happen:
   • Email Delivery: You might receive an email from Ticket Taxi with your tickets attached as PDF files or with a link to download your tickets.
   • Mobile App: If you have the Ticket Taxi app, your tickets might be delivered directly to the app.
   • Third-Party Ticket Transfer: Sometimes, especially for concerts or sports, tickets need to be transferred through the original ticket issuer.
6. Enjoy the Event: That's it! On the day of the event, bring your digital tickets with you. If they're on your phone, make sure your phone is charged. If you printed PDFs, bring the printouts.

Tip: Ticket prices on our platform are set by sellers and can fluctuate. If you see a deal you like, it's often a good idea to snag it, because availability can change.

Selling Tickets on Ticket Taxi

Have tickets you can't use? Ticket Taxi makes it easy to turn them into cash and let another fan go in your place. Here's how to sell your tickets:

1. List Your Tickets: Sign in to your Ticket Taxi account and click on the "Sell" option. Find the event for which you have tickets to sell by searching the event name, date, or the artist/team. Select the correct event and then enter the details of the tickets you're selling.
2. Set Your Price: Decide how much you want to ask for each ticket. Ticket Taxi will typically show you some pricing guidance, like what similar tickets are selling for, or a suggested price range based on the market.
3. Deliver the Tickets (When They Sell): After listing, you just wait for a buyer. You'll be notified (via email and/or app notification) as soon as your tickets are purchased. At that point, you'll need to transfer the tickets to the buyer.
4. Get Paid: Ticket Taxi will process the payment to you after the sale is completed. We usually release payment to the seller shortly after the event has taken place (this is to protect against any issues, like invalid tickets).

Note: As a seller, it's important to follow all laws and regulations regarding ticket resale. In most cases, selling your tickets on Ticket Taxi is perfectly legal, but some states have specific rules.
